Now, how many times were you tempted to buy those glittery lip gloss that you believe would carry the same effects on your lips! Now not only have I been tempted, but I actually do buy lip gloss in pretty pink pastels color with shimmers hoping that once I apply it my lips would be the exact same color as the tube! I was disappointed time over time with the color pay out, and now realize that lip gloss usually doesn't give much color pay off unless it's the more darker shades.
Opening up my make up bag I see at least 10 of these tubes lying around barely use so last night as I was trying to organize them I wanted to give them one last try. This time I realize that certain lip gloss aren't suppose to be apply with such cautions. I feel like I dab too little on my lips fearing that I would finish them too soon, but once I apply an ample amount on my lips I notice some differences. There is more shine and the color shows up slightly more. I did have one of those pucker lips after I apply them on, but it looks great to me. So if anyone bought any glosses that they feel like it hasn't done them much justice to what you see on the tube. Make sure to apply and ample amount and maybe you'll discover how pretty these gloss can be alone on your lips!!!

Sick Eck...!?!
Okay, so reading about the side effects from the diet I was prepared for what was to come, or so I thought. Day one pass and my throat started to get itchy, and I didn't know if it's because of the mixture or is it because of the weather changing. In the mid of day two without any food my immune system was down and whatever was in me was taking over fast. The itchy throat turned into sore throat and the worst part was that my throat was closing up so I was salvating in my sleep! ( so sorry for grossing you out). I woke up at 4am cause there was no way I can continue to sleep so I decided to brush my teeth. They say when you brush your teeth it helps kill bacteria and they were right! After that I was able to sleep until morning. It still hurts to speak or swallow any food down, so now I'm in my own kind of diet. lol
I decided this isn't a good time for me to continue this diet because my event is coming up this weekend and I can't afford to be sick. Now I must do all I can to rid this throat problem away before friday! Yes, that means I came into work today with a thick scarf and thigh high boots! I look like I got lost with the season considering this is spring, but yet so nippy. Wish me luck!

Lemonade or Kale juice????
Alright, so we know that when important events come up we want to look our best. we normally go into some workout/diet mode which usually is made of tons of workout and eating healthy. Now I been working out and eating right ( or so I think) since January and fell a bit short after 3 months. Before I know it it's almost time for the event, and I am nowhere near the mark I planned for myself!
I have 3 weeks to make it happen, and I'm not saying this is the best way to do things. I don't encourage people to do this, but to me it's worth a try. So for week one 5/2-5/8 I been trying to eat healthy. I try to cut meat and a little bit of carb every other day. So far I'm not gaining any extra weights, but next week is the shedding pounds week!
I did some research and read up on 2 ways to go about this which is Beyonce lemonade diet or Pepper pot Kale juice diet. Since they both sounds so intriguing I thought I'd give it a try.
5/9/10: I had a pretty big lunch ( hate myself for it), and drank 12oz of the lemonade mixture. My stomach was crying for more food, but I manage to ease my mind and went to sleep.
5/10/10: This morning drank 6oz of the lemonade mixture, and had one piece of whole grain cracker. Will keep posted!

Olay age defying anti wrinkle UV lotion review!!
So I was in Florida for a couple of days, and boy was it HOT. I didn't apply too much SPF on since I wanted a tan and gosh that was a mistake! I know that our face is delicate and that facing too much sun can cause uneven coloring and fine line. Another word is that it makes you wrinkle faster. Who would have known that being in the sun for a few days without sunblock I notice that there was deep lines settling on my face!? It was an issue to me considering I'm trying my best to keep my face wrinkle free as long as possible. Let's face it in order for us to have a healthy glowing face we all need to maintain our skin by keeping it hydrated and stay away from the sun as much as possible. By this I don't mean you can't enjoy the sun but you would need to protect your skin!! Shield it people!
And so this is where I go browsing for the next miracle potion. Dan dan da soo I pick up Olay age defying anti wrinkle uv lotion! I picked it up the same day as the St. Ives green tea cleanser. I've been using it twice a day and I have to admit that it does leave your face feeling soft and smooth! Don't put too much on though cause for me it can get oily easily. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, but I think it could do wonders for normal/dry skin ppl. There's an olay scent to it and for you that don't know what I'm talking about then just think of a lotion with a perfume scent to it. Some ppl claims that it may get overbearing but I don't mind it at all. Hahah
So far I see that the deep lines that form when you smile is slowly fading away. I didn't have much to begin with, but with the exposure to the sun I was able to see the fine line setting into my face. I'll keep you posted on how that goes! I believe that I should give each product a try with a decent amount of time before I determine it's a hit or mess!

St. Ives new green tea cleanser!!!
Hi there,
So the weather is getting hotter now and I find myself waking up to slobs of sweat around my face. Gross I know! That's not even the worst part?! After getting up from my greasy face long and behold my face starts breaking out in the evening to a little field of red acne spot! Someone call in the SWAT team please. I been using cetaphil cleanser on and off. I admit I wasnt dedicated to it, but when my face starts to breakout bad I wasn't getting the results needed from it. And I have a tendency to believe that after a while we should always switch up our products so that our skin won't get use to the ingredients, kind of the same theory as workout routines lol.
So after doing some research for a good face cleanser I came across the new St. Ives green tea cleanser. It claims to clears breakouts and reduces Salicylic Acid Acne Medication with 100% natural green tea. I bought it on 4/28/10, and been using it still up to date. I can't say that my acnes are completely gone, but it isn't multiplying anymore. I use it twice a day and always follow up with lotion, but the difference here is that I don't put as much lotion on anymore! After I finish washing my face I do feel like its a bit dry but still hydrated! I don't think you can forgo putting on lotion... I wouldn't tried that lol. It gives you a little refreshening burst. Definately not a big ZAP to start your day, but you do feel a slight citriusy aroma ( for some reason I seem to always smell apples..haha) I would say so far so good, but my old acnes are still here. I wouldn't say it resolves all the problems yet, but we'll see! Just thought I tried this out and will keep you posted!
